Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci was born in 1452 in the heart of Europe. He was born outside Vinci, which lies high up on Mount Albano, in the valley of the Arno River, beside Florence which had been a seperate republic and also business center when the artist came into this world. His father was a legal specialist. Leonardo da vinci is thought to be one of the most excellent artists of all time maybe the most diversely gifted people ever to have lived. His talent, maybe more than that of any other people, epitomized the Renaissance humanist ideal. da Vinci  has frequently been known as the archetype of the Renaissance Man, a guy of "unquenchable curiosity" and "feverishly inventive imagination". Based on art Helen Gardner, a historian, the r and depth of his interests were without precedent and "his mind and personality seem to us superhuman, a man himself mysterious as well as remote". Marco Rosci says that althought there maybe a lot speculation related to Da Vinci, his vision of the world is actually logical instead of mysterious, and therefore,  the scientific approaches he applied were unique at his time.

Among Da Vinci's paintings, the Mona Lisa is the most well-known and widely used portrait and The Last Supper is the most popular religious painting in art reproduction of all time, with their popularity reached only by Michelangelo's famous artwork- The Creation of Adam. Da Vinci's drawing of the Vitruvian Man is also viewed as a cultural icon, being reproduced on products as varied as the euro coin, textbooks, and T-shirts. Most likely 15 of his artworks have survived, the few because of the artist's steady, and reguarly disastrous, testing with new skills, and his serious procrastination. Even so, these small number of paintings, along with his notebooks, which including drawings, scientific diagrams as well as Da Vinci's ideas about the nature of painting, construct a contribution to many generations of painters rivalled only by that of his contemporary, Michelangelo.

Da vinci is also admired for his technological genius. He conceptualised flying machines, an armoured vehicle, focused on solar power, an adding machine, and the double hull, also showing a basic idea of plate tectonics. Pretty few of his designs were built or even possible in his lifetime, yet a few of his smaller inventions, like an automated bobbin winder and a machine for testing the tensile strength of wire, got into the world of manufacturing unheralded. He produced significant breakthroughs in civil engineering, optics, anatomy as well as hydrodynamics, but Leonardo did not release his studies and they had no immediate impact on following science.

Beside the Mona Lisa and the Last Supper, Da Vinci's popular oil painting reproductions also including:
