Fedor Alekseyev also called Fyodor Yakovlevich Alekseyev was a Russian painter who was thought to be another Canaletto. He received notable sucess in the subject of city landscapes. Fedor spent many years of studying landscape and Venice paintings in the Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg. He became a decorator after art studying but he wanted to be a professional artist.
