According to cnn news, Egyptian authorities caught two Italians at Cairo International Airport suspecting them to be related to the art theft of Poppy Flowers painted by Vincent van Gogh. They were caught just moments before they board a plane to leave the country. It is said that the painting was then returned to Cairo’s Mohammed Mahmoud Khalil Museum. However, Farouq Hosni, the culture minister of Egypt said they are still in the process of recover the stolen artwork. An interior ministry spokesman told CNN that the man was arrested.
