The Alte Pinakothek is a large art museum located in the Kunstareal district of Munich, Germany. The museum is one of the world's oldest galleries and features a significant collection of Old Master paintings. The name of the gallery derives from the time period that its collection spans: from the early 15th century to the early 18th century. 

The Alte Pinakothek has some of the world's most important masterpieces. The museum is home to six-metre-high Peter Paul Rubens painting, "The Great Last Judgment." This masterpiece is featured in a room dedicated to the seventeenth-century Flemish paintings. It also has a wide selection of contemporary art.
